“Addiction”

This body of work emerged from a project I created during my Light and Studio class, centered around the theme of addiction. Through self-portraiture, I explored the raw and complex emotions tied to this subject, navigating the weight of dependency, struggle, and resilience.

The challenge was to translate such intense and deeply personal experiences into visual form. Each image becomes more than a photograph—it’s a fragment of a journey, a reflection of vulnerability and inner conflict. The interplay of light and shadow mirrors the duality of addiction: moments of hope battling with despair.

This series invites viewers to confront the emotional layers of addiction, offering a glimpse into a world often left unseen and unspoken. My aim is to provoke thought, empathy, and connection through these visual narratives.
